**About us**:
Hawke's Bay Hospital is a 364 bed hospital providing acute and elective care for the Hawke's Bay region. We have most major medical and surgical subspecialties on site (except cardiothoracic and neurosurgery), as well as paediatrics and O&G. We are well supported by a strong regional ICU team. We have strengthening Primary and Community health services and an increasingly integrated approach to health and health care.

**About our team**:
The Urology department consists of 5 Specialists, 3 Registrars and 1 House Officer. This role requires participation in a 1:3 on-call roster. Urology provide clinical services that include acute and elective operations, outpatient clinics involving first assessments and follow-ups and procedures (cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, urodynamics, etc) as well as arranging of investigations and planning treatment. Non-contact assessments and advice will also be required. Management of people requiring specialist urology care as well as giving phone advice to GP's and other medical colleagues.
- Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3 or above.
- Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
