**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Foundry Worker (day shift) will be working across all aspects of the foundry operations within a small team. This role is based at our Wilmer Street location in Central Christchurch.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Deploy and develop your existing foundry skills across moulding/core making, furnace and metal casting operations, knock-out and fettling work.
- Help maintain and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.
- Support the continuous improvement of foundry processes and procedures.
- Work with a highly experienced foundry team.
- Produce components Fabrum's own products and a wide range of external customers.
**ABOUT YOU**
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Previous experience working in a foundry across multiple disciplines, ideally with a trade qualification.
- 10+ years experience (5 years minimum) working with a range of non-ferrous metals.
- Good understanding of the processes and methods to create high quality castings, from simple plates to complex art installations
- A strong work ethic and great communication.
- Passionate about good health & safety standards.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness.
**INTERVIEW PROCESS**
The interview process will be two stages. A phone interview followed by a video or in-person interview with the Manufacturing Manager, and Team Lead, Foundry.
