**Your new company**
You will be working for an established and well-respected NZ contractor with offices and projects around Central Otago. They have a stable forward workload and are on the lookout for the best civil construction talent to join their high-performing team. This company believes in giving their staff the environment to a range of projects to enable them to diversify and develop their career.
**Your new role**
You will be working closely with the owner on a range of water projects in Otago. Your responsibilities will be varied and will include; training, performance management, organising resources, technical advice, liaising with stakeholders and delivering successful projects. This is a broad role that will give you a great grounding in management and supervision. While this is a management role there may be some on the tools work in rare circumstances.
This role is in Queenstown but will suit someone who lives anywhere in the Central Otago region as the company has branches in Queenstown and Cromwell. If you are outside the region, there is a one off relocation assistance available for the successful applicant.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Certifying drainlayer (this is a must)
- An Engineering degree in civil construction
- Site Safe Supervisor
- Class 1 and WTR licences
- Great interpersonal and organisational skills
- Proven experience on drainage projects in New Zealand
This position would suit a graduate engineer who has worked as a certifying drainlayer in their career. Operating experience in the drainage field is a must for this role.
