**About the Role**

We are seeking high achieving individuals to join our team in supporting the company through this exciting new chapter and into the future.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of 6 trained Line Mechanics in the construction of 17km of overhead lines, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers and local authorities, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety guidelines
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges encountered during the construction process
- Monitor project progress, manage resources effectively, and address any obstacles to ensure the timely completion of the project
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting team cohesion and individual development
- Embrace the unique opportunity to live and work on a remote island, demonstrating adaptability and cultural sensitivity

**Skills & Experience**
- Registered Line Mechanic with current practising licence
- Ideally an appropriate technical qualification to NZQA Level 6 or equivalent
- Team management experience
- Expert in industry safety and electrical safety statutory requirements
