Are you a skilled Food Technologist ready to take on the challenge of ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of food products destined for export to China? **Company Overview**:CAIQTEST (Pacific) Ltd is a leading accredited testing laboratory specializing in pre-shipment food testing for exporters to China. With dual accreditation from IANZ in New Zealand and CNAS in China, we ensure that food products meet Chinese standards before shipment, facilitating faster customs clearance and reduced risk for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research and Analysis: Study the properties of various food products to support the development of new testing methods and improve existing analytical procedures.
- Quality Systems Management: Develop, manage, and maintain quality systems for food testing processes, ensuring adherence to international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Design and enhance food testing and packaging methods to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the integrity of samples during transit.
- Safety and Compliance Testing: Ensure food safety and quality by testing and analyzing samples of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products to comply with health regulatory frameworks and quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Test food products to ensure compliance with health regulatory frameworks and quality standards, particularly those required by Chinese import regulations.
- Method Development: Develop new methods for food preservation analysis, such as assessing the efficacy of freezing, canning, and drying techniques.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their product specifications and provide guidance on meeting Chinese regulatory standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in food technology or a similar role, preferably in a laboratory setting focused on food testing and analysis, is required if the educational qualifications are not met.
- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and equipment related to food analysis.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards, especially those pertaining to exports to China.
- Experience with developing and validating analytical methods for food testing.
- Soft Skills:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
