Aluminium Joinery Fabricators and Drivers

We have few positions available for Aluminium joinery fabricators and drivers to join our team in Auckland. You may be required to perform the following duties:

- Interpreting drawings and reading and understanding all instructions before starting each job
- Identifying and selecting the right materials, cleaning and preparing metal stock
- Contribute successfully to day-to-day factory operations ensuring the quality of the joinery meets required standards
- Ensure early identification and communication of flaws are proactively resolved and implemented
- Prioritise workload - ensure that work of the greatest importance is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard
- Accuracy and attention to detail of worksheets - ensuring the output of work is of a quality standard and meeting the
- required deadlines
- Jobs completed in order as directed
- Repair and maintain aluminium products as needed
- Support and help develop a positive workplace culture
- To ensure that all locks, stays and hinges required for each job are attached to doors and windows properly
- Installing the finished products according to the blueprints on site
- Fabricating windows & doors and glazing
- Glazing of aluminium joinery - placing glass & wedging off
- Be health and safety conscious. Abide by all health and safety policies. Keep your work space clean, safe and tidy
- Cleaning the product and completing final quality checks against specifications
- Assisting team members in other sections as directed
- Load and unload deliveries of windows and doors in perfect condition.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
- Manually load / unload where required
- Will include minor on-site adjustments, & factory duties between deliveries

Experience and industry knowledge are advantageous - but not essential as training will be provided.

Ability to follow instructions, and read relevant documentation

Employment Type: Full-time permanent role (minimum 30 hours per week). You may be required to work on Saturday’s.

An attractive pay of $29.66 per hour.

We may require you to undergo drug test.

We are located at950 Great South Road, Penrose, Auckland 1061
