Rocket Lab's Administration and Business Support team is responsible for keeping things running smoothly across the business. The wide scope of missions and customers we serve requires a diligent Administration and Business Support team. **SECURITY OFFICER**
The Security Support Officer - Casual is tasked with delivering physical security, ensuring the protection of our assets (premises, possessions, people and infrastructure) by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The Security Support Officer will primarily be responsible for providing escorting services to contractors operating on site. Quality customer service is a key requirement of this role. Flexibility of hours is essential to this role. As a member of the security team, operational preparedness, readiness, and responsiveness are critical to this role. **WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO**:

- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Provide security escorting duties for visitors and contractors.
- Working within Standard Operating Procedures by ensuring adherence to all rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to security and the organisation's values.
- Treat all information and procedures as strictly confidential.
- Assisting in emergency evacuation procedures.
- Reporting security, facilities and IT incidents and issues via the appropriate systems.
- Promote a high-quality visitor experience by providing a security service that focuses on quality customer service.
- Ensure staff and contractors are compliant with security policies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, contractors, and visitors.

**YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A list of **required** experience, qualifications, and training.
- To pass criminal background checks and ITAR regulations.
- Demonstrated experience working within a team and toward team goals.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Full, clean, NZ driver licence.
