We’re looking for passionate and dedicated theatre Registered Nurse, to join our Elective Surgery Centre (ESC).
Located opposite North Shore Hospital, ESC is an elective surgery provider committed to effective, quality surgical services for patients as well as an to a supportive work environment and professional satisfaction for our nursing teams. “Everyone matters “is a value we live by on a
ESC perioperative services consist of 6 preoperative rooms, four operating theatres, 12 recovery bays, and small day stay unit for our day cases.
Determined on a four week basis, our surgical schedules are shared by the following specialities: orthopaedics, urology, general gynaecology, and ENT. Patients are admitted on the day of surgery both a day case as well as inpatient basis.
The patient case mix covers a wide range of acuity from simple to complex and even robotic surgery, ESC being the centre which pioneered the robotic knee arthroplasties in New Zealand.
In return, we can offer excellent teamwork on a Monday-Friday roster between 07:30-18:00 with no weekend or night shift requirements
