- About MIT**

MIT - Te Pūkenga is at the forefront of changing lives with vocational education, with a strong vision of getting people into great jobs and/or supporting them as in-work learners. We are looking for part-time Tutorial Assistant within the School of Education team with a real passion for inclusive teaching and learning to support the delivery of our year long Inclusive Education programmes.

This position will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of programmes assisting adult learners with differing learning and intellectual abilities. You will work closely with the teaching team and work experience providers to deliver a programme that ensures our graduates are prepared and ready to step into their communities with greater skills for independent living and supported learning and ultimately employment or further study.

This fixed-term position starting on the 1/2/24 - 7/12/24 will need someone who is innovative, proactive, flexible and a great communicator who thrives on working collaboratively - ultimately focused on ākonga (students) success.

**Ko te turanga mahi | About the role**:

- Supporting the delivery of teaching content, resources & assessment within the programme to facilitate high learner engagement and success in a blended environment
- Working closely with the teaching team to support strong consistent student engagement by liaising with whānau, support workers and caregivers.
- You many visit and engage with students and their work experience providers around Auckland

**Mōku ake | **About you**:

- Ideally you will have experience working with adult learners with differing learning and intellectual abilities and/or Teacher Aide/Tutorial Assistant type work history.
- Current Full New Zealand Drivers Licence
- Strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
