**Required Qualifications and Experiences**

Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent midwifery qualification

Current registration with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

New Graduate Status (recent completion of midwifery training within the past [6] months)

Prior clinical placements or internships related to midwifery (advantageous)

Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient backgrounds

Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain it
