Since Riviera Hardware Holdings inception in 2009, where we started out with a small local Mitre 10 store in Warkworth, we have grown to be the largest group of stores within the Mitre 10 national network. We are proud to offer our customers a shopping experience like no other in New Zealand’s largest hardware retail store; Mitre 10 MEGA Albany as well as New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparoa and Silverdale, boast Columbus Coffee shops. We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant.

**We have **_full_**_-time_** positions available on the shop floor at Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn with a specific roster pattern expectation - 12:30-21:00**:

- _ These shift patterns are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. They start at 12:30 midday and end at 9pm and do not include weekends._
- We are on the lookout for team members to assist us in various departments to deliver exceptional customer service assisting customers in choosing products according to their needs and budget turning their dreams into reality.

**We are currently recruiting for this specific roster pattern (12:30-9pm) in the following areas**:

- ** Hardware (Hand tools, Powertools, Fixings, Fastenings, Automotive).**:

- ** Showroom (Kitchens, Bathrooms, Large Appliances, related fixtures and fittings).**

**The duties of this role**:

- Provide information on products, across features & benefits and price ranges during opening hours.
- Answer questions and queries from customers and make recommendations where appropriate during opening hours.
- Replenish stock, ensuring appropriate and attractive presentation in all merchandise displays, including correct ticketing and location, to maximize sales potential.
- Move and replenish stock, ensuring shelves and displays are filled correctly and safely, and not overloaded with any excess stock.
- Ensure the correct location of product to ensure accuracy.
- Arranging, repositioning and tidying shelves and displays.
- Keep the stockroom and work area clean and organized to facilitate efficient replenishment activities.

**Our ideal applicant**:

- Stock integrity awareness and merchandising standards (essential)
- Physically fit and capable with no restrictions on lifting or handling (preferred).
- Previous cash handling experience (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to work from 12:30 to 9pm Monday to Friday.
