**Boiler Operator - Dunedin Energy Centre**

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced boiler operator to join the skilled team at our Dunedin Energy Centre as a permanent full-time employee.

The Job_**

The business works with a customer focus on a 24/7 basis, managing and operating a steam generation plant consisting of four boilers. You will work with a national company gaining valuable experience and knowledge which could open opportunities to further your career with us in the future. You will be joining a 4 day on 4 day off roster working 12 hour shifts either from 6am to 6pm or vice versa.

You will ideally have the following attributes:

- 4-5 years secondary education
- Level 3 Boiler operation qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant trade qualification
- A strong health and safety focus
- Strong knowledge and experience of steam systems and practices
- Experienced using boiler control systems
- Capable of using sound judgement, with a pragmatic and logical approach to problem solving and handling unforeseen events
- Strong work ethic with a proactive "can do" practical attitude
