This position will provide leadership and drive test delivery ensuring effective test techniques are applied to a multitude of projects across MBIE.

**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
Our Test Lead roles will be filled by people who have a deep understanding of STLC [Software Testing Life Cycle] and experience in leading Test Delivery across the projects. The Test Lead will create the right level of test reporting within the projects ensuring the information is concise and helpful to take release readiness decisions.

Quality Assurance & Testing is a newly established team at MBIE as we move swiftly into becoming a Digital Agency. They are tasked with building quality checks and measures into our software and technical delivery. The team is focused continually improving our ways of working and leveraging technology to drive this. This includes Cloud technology, automation, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.

- Proven experience of leading Test delivery or small sized teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Has in depth understanding of various testing techniques, appropriate tools that helps in accelerating test delivery without compromising Quality.
- Proficient in choosing effective, efficient testing techniques, tools to achieve quality outcomes.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and managing priorities
- Experience with Infrastructure testing methodologies
- You’re self-motivated, quick learner and enjoys sharing knowledge, mentoring team mates as needed.
- Ability to identify, assess and report quality risks early in the Software delivery life cycle.
- Work understanding of DevOps principles, Testing within DevOps teams.
