**Days and hours for this position**:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6am-4:30pm

**About us and what we offer**:
This role offers a fun team culture, a great store culture and full training. This is the opportunity for someone to start their career in the Butchery. New World Durham Street is Christchurch’s newest supermarket experience, offering the latest in supermarket design and features and we are proudly locally owned and operated. We have a first-class butchery offer with our amazingly presented serve over as well as Durham Street’s quality cuts and dry aged beef.

**Your day to day**:

- Filling and presenting our Butchery department so it’s full, accessible and looks great
- Delivering outstanding customer service and helping and directing customers
- Full training provided to be able to use equipment to prepare and wrap meat
- Doing varying tasks including: cleaning to a high standard and completing Food Safety records
- Following all Food Safety and Health and Safety processes to a high standard

**What we need from you**:

- Excellent customer service
- A great work ethic
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication and team building skills
- Fantastic organisation and resilience and the ability to prioritise tasks
- The ability to lift up to 25kg
