As part of the Asia Pacific Healthcare Group (APHG), Labtests has been providing pathology services to the Auckland Community since 2009. This is predominantly done through our network of 58 collection centres and a state of the art laboratory situated in Mt Wellington. Our laboratory is highly automated and technically advanced, and we deliver an outstanding service for patients and health professionals. We are committed to the future of pathology in New Zealand through excellence in technical, clinical, and service innovations.

**About the role**:

- Our Biochemistry department has a vacancy for a registered **Medical Laboratory Technician** to be a part of our highly automated laboratory based in Mt. Wellington.
- This is a full-time position with 80 hours fortnightly; working on a rostered 8 hour shift from Monday to Sunday. (Eligible for penal rates for weekends).
- Reporting to the Head of Department, you will perform routine tests in a team and work in a highly automated laboratory.
- Excellent career progression opportunities.

**About you**:

- Registered with Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand
- A current Annual or Interim Practicing Certificate
- A sound knowledge of laboratory operations including, safety, quality assurance processes, operation of equipment and hands-on practical experience
- The ability to work in a methodical manner adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines
- Flexibility with your working hours will be invaluable to the team.
