**About the role**

This could be the role in Pacific health you have been looking for. Working as The Fono's coordinator of the Healthy Babies Healthy Futures.

You would be responsible for carrying out a Te Whatu Ora public health programme for pregnant mothers and parents of children under four years of age, living in the Auckland and Waitematā localities. The programme includes lifestyle coaching, nutrition and wellbeing courses.

It's 40 hours a week reporting directly to the Manager Public Health, based at The Fono in Henderson.

**About you**

You will have a real wish to make a difference in your community with babies and their parents.

Key Requirements:

- Value the healthy babies - healthy families approach to working with young parents
- Very good understanding of Pacific people in New Zealand and what they aspire to
- Demonstrated experience in engagement and supporting people
- Great at planning and organising
- Effective, persuasive personal communication skills (one on one / group)
- Excellent interpersonal workplace skills with a proven ability to work in a collegial manner
- Fully computer literate
- Have a full Drivers Licence
