Our Sector Digital Channels team is the driving force behind change in our nationally enabled services. We're on a mission to create cost-effective and sustainable digital solutions that revolutionize accessibility. From user-friendly digital self-service options to seamless integration and automation, we're here to make life easier for the workforce.
We take pride in managing, delivering, and providing unwavering support for all our national external services. From Te Whatu Ora to Manatū Hauora, we've got our fingers on the pulse of it all. Plus, we're the champions of developing APIs that foster interconnectedness across systems used by external parties.
This opportunity is to join us in an 18 month Fixed Term capacity, embedded within the Public Health Operations IT (PHOIT).
**Mōu | About you***
As a Test Analyst, you will be immersed in developing, executing, managing and track testing activities to demonstrate quality of a solution that meets both business and technical requirements.
You will also be responsible for defect management and acts as an input channel to remediation processes and works as part of the Product Team to lead end to end functional and business acceptance testing. You will collaborate across domains, teams and capabilities to streamline and improve delivery of services, prioritise demand, and improve business value. These services are the heart of our operations, and we would love to have you join this mahi.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification relevant to testing, solution engineering or software development.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Knowledge of different types of testing e.g. functional, regression and smoke testing.
- Knowledge in test planning, test case design, test management, test execution and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, tools and ways of working.
- Knowledge of the health sector or payments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of large complex programme environments.
- Data mapping and ETL skills.
- Ability to navigate technology platforms Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake and Power BI.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including an ability to communicate technical outcomes in a language readily understood by all levels of stakeholders.
- An analytical and enquiring mindset, with a willingness to ask probing questions to understand the underlying information.
- The ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively at all levels across a large a multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector is desired.
