Our client is one of New Zealand’s most renowned and respected commercial/industrial flooring applicators in the country and has been operating for over 21 years. Based in Hamilton and due to growth, our client is seeking to expand their team with a diligent and conscientious, Foreman/Applicator.

You will need to be a friendly, easy-going person with a good sense of humour that can easily fit into their team that already includes multiple cultures. As a Foreman/Applicator will coordinate operations and oversee day-to-day activities on sites and will be the key person in charge of managing the completion of the projects.

If you are not a Foreman/Applicator but have a painting or plastering background, then we want to hear from you as well. If you are a quick learner and want to grow yourself then this might be the right opportunity for you.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Experience as a Foreman, applicator or in a similar role
- Good client management and problem resolution & issue management skills.
- Knowledge and experience in resin coving, broadcast systems, roller coating and self-smoothing coatings
- Previous experience in painting, plastering or trowelling an advantage
- Exceptional adherence to site safety and safe work practises
- Ability to read construction plans and identify specification requirements
- A strong delivery / work ethic and willingness to get the job done and work under pressure
- Commit to travelling around New Zealand
