Butchers Assistant

No prior experience required but would be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting processes carcasses of slaughtered livestock and prepares meat and meat products.
- Assisting break down carcass (beef, pork, lamb), boning, cutting, grinding, and preparing meat according to customer specifications, gutting and evisceration, pelting, offal/tripe processing.
- Assisting operate butchery machines such as bone saws, mincers, skinners, weighing scales, and vacuum sealers.
- Operating packing machines such as vacuum packers, pressers, stretch fil wrappers, boxing labels, weighing scales or machines, and other packaging equipment.
- Weighing, grading, and wrapping cut meats and preparing them for packaging, packing boned and sliced meat into cartons.
- Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers.
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas.
