**The Role**

We are on the hunt for experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics for an immediate start. In this dynamic role your primary focus will be ensuring our fleet is serviced on a regular basis, fault finding, as well as repair, maintain and test motor vehicle and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components of our trucks and first-class equipment.

**Are you the right fit?**

To accelerate in this role, you'll need:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the heavy diesel trade with the relevant trade qualification of NZQA level 4 or similar
- Experience on American truck brands will be advantageous
- Possess the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical as well as electrical faults in a workshop environment as well as out in the field
- Have a good understanding on how to use advanced diagnostic equipment
- Have the skills to overhaul engines, transmissions and other major components
- Perform scheduled maintenance and well as have an eye for preventative maintenance Have the ability to work independently and on a range of jobs Strong time management skills and a good communicator is a must
- Workplace health and safety and environmental conscious
