**Maintenance Fitter**

There is one vacancy available for this Maintenance Fitter role, which is based in Whirinaki, Hawkes Bay at Pan Pac Forest Products.

This role is a permanent, day shift position working Monday to Friday 8am till 4.30pm, 40 hours per week. In this role you are required as a part of your role to take part in the on call roster, you will be on call for 1 week in every 5 weeks. This role has a starting salary of $95,017 and overtime rate of $68.89 and can allow you to reach a salary of $105,417, with an overtime rate of $76.44.

**THE ROLE**
Your focus will be on minimising downtime of the plant, so our processing team can get on with what they do best. There will be projects at times & on-going opportunities for you to upskill, train & grow in your career here. As a Maintenance Fitter you will provide practical mechanical engineering support for all aspects of the pulpmill and utilities areas to ensure optimal performance of the plant is achieved. You will have a strong focus on plant reliability, investigate and resolve all breakdowns and failures. You will raise any continuous improvement opportunities to further enhance the reliability of our plant. You will only be based on one site so other than travel to and from work there is no other travel required.

**REQUIREMENTS**
The preferred requirement for the role is a NZQA level 4 mechanical qualification (or equivalent). Otherwise, relevant work experience of a minimum 3 years can substitute the need for the formal qualification
