Key Responsibilities:Test Strategy Development

Design and implement a comprehensive testing strategy tailored to ACI Worldwide payment solutions, encompassing both manual and automated testing. Develop detailed test plans that cover all aspects of the payment ecosystem, including ACI backend implementation, transaction processing, card chip testing, and VISA compliance. Ensure that the testing strategy aligns with project goals, timelines, and compliance requirements, particularly in low-volume transaction scenarios.

Manual Testing

Conduct thorough manual testing of ACI Worldwide payment modules, including transaction flows, settlement and reconciliation processes, and fraud management functionalities. Perform end-to-end testing, ensuring all components of the payment system interact correctly and securely. Execute On-Us transactional testing and PIV (Personal Identity Verification) testing, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Validate the effectiveness of fraud detection and management systems through targeted test cases.

Automation Testing

Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline repetitive testing tasks, particularly for regression testing and high-volume transaction scenarios. Use automation tools to test ACI payment systems, focusing on areas such as transaction processing, fraud detection, and compliance checks. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and quick feedback loops. Analyze automation test results, identify issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.

Certification Testing

Lead the testing and certification of card chip functionality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and successful integration with ACI Worldwide solutions. Coordinate with certification bodies and labs to ensure the successful completion of required certifications.

Collaboration and Reporting

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Supervise and mentor junior testers, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices. Assist in training the client’s staff on new testing environments and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:Experience:
8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years focused on the payments domain. Hands-on experience with ACI Worldwide payment solutions, including backend systems, transaction processing, and fraud management. Strong background in both manual and automation testing, with proven experience in developing and executing test plans.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ACI Issuing Platform for some of the below functionalities:

- Issuing
- Activation and card mgt system
- Auth and ISO 8583 messaging
- VISA network routing
- Postillion
- Settlement, Reconciliation and Reporting

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example. Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Experience in low-volume transaction environments.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Previous experience in a senior/lead testing role.
