Are you passionate about innovative design and engineering? We are seeking a talented and creative Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining cutting-edge products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life, and ensuring our designs meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

**The focus of the position is**:

- Product design
- Design methodology and technology

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct requirements analysis and modelling
- Develop design specifications and implement solutions
- Define test specifications and oversee execution
- Ensure design tolerances align with manufacturing capabilities
- Conduct rigorous analysis and debugging of design solutions
- Investigation and evaluation of design processes, tools, equipment and third-party components.

**Ō **pūkenga** - About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant Bachelor, Postgraduate or other appropriate tertiary level NZQA approved qualification or relevant experience in the discipline.

As well as:

- A keen interest in technology and solving problems
- Experience developing software in a collaborative team environment
- A passion for working in a team and working with the group to collectively improve our practices and behaviours
- Good Communication skills demonstrated by written contributions and verbal presentations.
