**Mōu | About you**

Are you passionate about technology and leading teams to success?** **We're looking for someone to join our team and provide technical leadership and operational management for our Windows and Desktop Team at the National Office.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth functioning and security of our IT infrastructure systems, both in private and public cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high availability, integrity, and security standards across our enterprise ICT infrastructure. This encompasses everything from deploying and supporting data center technologies to managing telecommunications and security systems.

As part of the Central Region Hybrid-Multi Cloud Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of ICT services to support the strategic goals of Te Whatu Ora. We're looking for someone who can oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, from implementation to disposal, and drive continuous improvement in our IT services.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Relevant technical/professional qualification and/or equivalent experience
- Previous people leadership experience
- Experience with vendor management within a large enterprise environment.
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem management and trend analysis skills with a particular emphasises on problem resolution
- Proven people leadership experience in leading and managing a team's capability and capacity to deliver on current and future work priorities
- Ability to actively manage key people in critical roles and develop successors for future roles
- Actively model collaborative, innovative and service-oriented style of working
- Actively model and promote change fitness and the ability to navigate complexity and change during uncertain and ambiguous times
- Signficant hands-on experience managing Call Centre/Service Centre operations in a medium to large enterprise-scale geographically distributed environment.
- Extensive experience in Incident Management.
- Experience working in a 24 x 7 operating environment
- Previous experience in the Health Sector is desirable
