**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. We have a number of exciting opportunities for Technical Writer’s to join our busy team on a permanent basis. We are open to applicants who can be based in Pokeno and Dunsandel.

This role will provide technical writing to support the Subject Matter Expert in creating content for the procedures and work instructions needed for our Synlait Operations. You will be creatively led and strategic by nature, able to develop and write digital copy that engages the reader.

Key responsibilities include:

- Update prioritised procedures across all areas and ensure awareness/implementation of these is happening by working closely with the Training Team.
- You will work with all of the Sites Continuous Improvement Leads to stay in tune with the evolution of procedures to ensure they are in alignment with other business unit documentation.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all teams and contribute to group outcomes.
- Keep up to date with business developments in the company and gain an understanding of the company’s vision, mission and strategy.

An upbeat personality is key, and you’ll be confident to reach out, and proactively collaborate to deliver quality work.

**Qualification**
- Education or Qualification in plain English or technical writing would be a preference.

**Skills and Experience**
- Ideally you will have proven understanding of dairy manufacturing processes and systems, Food Safety and HACCP systems.
- Previous experience in technical writing and coordination of SMEs would be an advantage.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Team leadership especially in building relationships with Subject Matter Experts as well as all our Stakeholders
- Able to work collaboratively to achieve business results.
- Can rapidly adapt and respond to changes in priorities or environment.
- You will have the ability to prioritise and delegate appropriately.
- This is a key role so you must be an excellent communicator, verbally and written.
