**The Role**

The Graduate Estimator forms an integral part of the Estimating Team and can utilise their developing knowledge base and recent learnings to support a quality end-to-end customer experience by providing accurate and timely tenders/quotes for a variety of customers.

The Graduate Estimator will work collaboratively with the Canterbury Regional Team, Field Teams, and Supply + Logistics teams, developing their own strong technical and analytical background, and excellent communication skills in the provision of high-quality quoting and tender preparation services to achieve Connetics’ business strategy and meet contractual obligations.

**Required skills & experience**
- Essential:

- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project
- Outstanding organisational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Desired:

- Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Project Management
- Experience in estimating software, SAP and CMS
- Experience within the electrical distribution industry
