We are on the hunt for an experienced furnace operator to join our team in our Auckland Glass processing plant.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be required to:

- Load and unload the tempering machine.
- Inspect the quality and make necessary changes to the machine parameters and recipe.
- Able to create recipes for all new type of glass such as Soft coated Low E, Hard coated low E, Solarban and all Low E’s available on the market
- Change furnace recipes and improve glass quality
- Programme the machine and use manual equipment when necessary to load the machine
- Compliance testing - full experience in conducting necessary testing according to NZ Standards.
- Able to do a simple troubleshooting on Glaston Furnaces.

**Skills, characteristics & experience you'll bring**
- Able to lift more than 30kgs.
- Plan and prioritise the workload according to the production schedule.
- Able to work with a mínimal supervision and will complete the task per schedule in a day-to-day basis.
- Experience in a factory setting previously
