Shift Runner

Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management.
- Deciding stock levels of the restaurant.
- Ensure the proper handling of customer service
- Handling customer complaints and feedback.
- Ensure that the whole business premises of the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure the compliance of the health and safety regulations mandated by New Zealand Government for the restaurant.
- Maintaining records of stock.
- Ensure the staff of the restaurant for the next shift.
- Ensure all the machines in business premises in a functional and clean space as per safety requirements.
- Ensure all the marketing and promotion are properly presented.
- Allocating staff depending on where needed for restaurant business.
- Training shift staff and hire new staff if needed.
- Cash handling and looking after end of day transaction.
- Assisting in budgeting and reviewing of the policies and prices.
- Briefing staff members at the beginning of their shifts, organizing and coordinating staff duties and looking after rostered shifts.
- Ensure the staff shifting is being manage properly.
- Strategize the staff shifting properly to avoid shortage of staff.
- Strategize the proper staff training and shift staffing.
- Assist in overall supervision of the business.
- Stay on counter whenever required.
- Such other tasks as reasonably requested by the owner which relate to the efficient running of the company.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be willing to do extra hours or to cover shift as and when required.
- You would be working weekends and public holidays as required in this job.
- Must be willing to work night shift
- A full driving license required.
