- Industry:
Based in Palmerston North and having been in operation since 1981, Cahill Animal Hospital is a leading veterinary clinic and is well known and respected within the Manawatu Region. Cahill Animal Hospital provides owners and their furry friends with medical and surgical care. On top of this they also have a grooming service, stock pet food, treatments and accessories. **About the Role**

This certainly isn't your standard receptionist role as you will be the face of the company dealing with a variety of clients and their pets.

You will constantly be greeting clients, dealing with emotional situations and answering queries, so your interpersonal skills must be second to none with empathy shining through in the tough situations.

Although Cahill Animal Hospital is open 7 days you will only be working Tuesday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.

You must be committed to the job, willing to learn the practices computer systems, processes and about the products that are stocked in the Hospital for sale to clients.

This isn't for the squeamish as from time-to-time animals will have little accidents in the waiting area, so you'll need to be prepared to pick-up the mop and clean up any messes.

Having an interest in animals would be advantageous and team-work is a must.
