The Whitby Co-Op is looking for their next Business Leader to join the team

The Co-op is an energetic bar and restaurant nestled in the vibrant heart of Whitby Our bustling establishment thrives on an exceptional team, fostering a community culture that keeps us buzzing with activity. This role is a very hands-on operational position requiring presence during key service times to ensure the team is performing in all areas of the venue. Balancing the need for speed, effective and thoughtful service with attention to the smaller details is our style.

**What we’ll love about you**:

- You will be a motivating and hands on leader - the team will be keen to follow you and come along for the journey
- You understand the difference between “customer service” and creating a fantastic “customer experience” - creating the feeling of manaakitanga in your venue, with your customers and with your team
- You will be energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills
- You will be organised and great with time management
- You understand the numbers and have sound cost control and revenue generating ability
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality with at least 1 years in a senior manager role
- And of course, from the compliance angle you will need your LCQ/GM Certificate
