Swim Teachers

We are looking for a number of part time Swim Teachers to join our wonderful Bayswim team With a start date of January 13th, this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven, and energetic person who enjoys working with children. You will have the opportunity of working within a fantastic team environment with like minded people at one of New Zealand’s top Aquatics facilities.

As Swim Teacher you will teach a variety of levels from complete beginner to highly competent school aged swimmers. Your primary role is to deliver swimming lessons to swimmers of all ages, to teach both in and out of the water and LOVE doing what you are doing This is a part time position with ability to grow. You do not need any experience in Swim Teaching - BaySwim will provide all training necessary.

Interviews will be concluded by mid December and so you’ll have the peace of mind knowing you’re starting your new role in the New Year.

Interview will also include a 1hr in water trial shadowing & supporting our existing teachers.

Paid training will commence on the 13th January for 1 week.

The successful applicant is passionate about teaching, will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities and needs. You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of a team.
