We are ideally seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Pre Analytical Technician qualified with the Medical Sciences Council.

About the role
At NZBS, Donor Technicians work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and are key members of the Collections team, undertaking blood collection and a number of administrative duties.
As our donors are healthy and go out of their way to give up their time to donate blood, customer service is key to ensuring the donors are provided with a donation experience that encourages their continued support.
The hours will generally be worked Monday to Friday, with some varying lengths of days so flexibility is required. Occasional weekend duties may also be required.
Salary starting from $49,001 to $ 62,570 depending on registration and experience.
About you

**Ideally you are**:

- A qualified Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Pre Analytical Technician qualified with the Medical Sciences Council
- Wanting a challenge
- Computer literate
- People-focused
- Flexible to work rostered shifts and travel away on Mobile Blood Drives with the occasional overnight trip (up to 3 days)
