Head of Procurement

Reporting to the General Manager of Merchandise, we are currently on the market for a Procurement professional to join us as The Head of Procurement. This is a strategic role that sits across our co-op providing world class non-stock procurement solutions for the support centre and stores.

**About the role**
- Working as a strategic leader, you’ll proactively seek to set the strategic direction and deliver the Non-Stock Procurement outcomes in a way that embeds a best-in-class procurement mindset, policies and processes for the long term. You’ll partner with 3rd parties, other parts of our business and members to deliver value and create a high performing culture and capability.

Key to this role:

- Establish credibility as a trusted partner, sought out for adding value and ensuring a clear and considered strategic direction is set for all non-stock procurement.
- Ensure customer centric decisions are made, supplier relationships are maximised, investments are optimised and alignment is achieved across the banners and business.
- Develop, guide and deliver market leading procurement policies, processes, governance, and outcomes across FSNI
- Identify supply risks, creating mitigation plans for high-risk suppliers while working with FSNI Legal team to appropriate contract management policies, processes and documentation is maintained.
- Lead the sourcing team including development and delivery of knowledge, market intelligence and analytical support to enable informed decisions and market leading outcomes.

Your professional experience will include:

- A strong track record in strategic procurement or similar roles in a medium to large sized business
- Practical commercial understanding with an appreciation for return on investment of procurement initiatives
- Experience in operating as a trusted advisor to senior management, influencing decision-making and guide strategic outcomes
- Leading a team and the management senior stakeholder relationships
