Our Waitematā Renal Service is looking for Full-Time and/or Part-Time Registered Nurses to join our Haemodialysis Service. These RN roles will be based principally in our North Shore Hospital acute / dependent-care haemodialysis centre in Takapuna, but successful applicants can expect to rotate through our other dialysis centres in Albany and Henderson (Waitākere Hospital) in time. Previous haemodialysis experience is essential. Familiarity with Fresenius haemodialysis machines is required. Successful applicants when orientated will be assigned shifts on the afterhours emergency / on-call haemodialysis roster.
Successful applicants will be passionate about caring for - and caring about renal patients. Our RNs have a positive approach to providing high quality, safe and effective nursing care to a broad spectrum of haemodialysis patients. You should demonstrate excellence in the skills of haemodialysis and have a sound technical knowledge of this machine-based therapy. You will possess excellent communication skills, be motivated and have experience of being a member of a team that works collaboratively to facilitate and coordinate care to achieve best health outcomes for patients.
