Prc Manager

Our Duty Free Stores offer a comprehensive range of core category duty free products, as well as a great array of local favourites. Supported with a dynamic online store, Facebook page and popular frequent buyers club, Duty Free Stores is a trusted destination for great service, and great value.

Based at our **Aelia Duty Free** store in Auckland International Airport, your role as PRC Manager is to promote and grow our Tour Group business in New Zealand. In this unique specialist role you will be expected to:

- Achieve sales and margins, selling high quality products
- Actively seeking new Tour groups; and build and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and brand awareness.
- Market and promote the business effectively by working with the airport stores’ sales and operations team

We're looking for a dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic individual to be part of our very loyal hardworking PRC Team. To succeed in a very competitive environment you will need to have:

- Solid and proven experience dealing with tour groups and tour companies
- Experience in coordinating and running marketing activities in the tour group market
- Ability to communicate fluently, both verbal and written, in Mandarin & English
- Expert experience using Chinese social media
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Good business sense with a sound understanding of the tour group market dynamics
- Exposure to international brands and retail operations

As we are situated in a dynamic airport location our stores operate to meet our customers' needs. With this in mind, you would be expected to be reasonably flexible with your hours and will include at least one weekend day.
