**About the role**:We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Team.
**What will you be doing?**
- Strip and reassemble of fixed plant equipment such as; gear boxes, exciters, pumps, bogies ranging from 200kg to 20 tonnes.
- Use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts.
- Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Diagnosing faults where required
- Basic report writing
- Taking ownership of your own work
**What do you need?**
- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.
- A strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
- Hydraulic experience would be advantageous.
- Possible 482 Australian Visa Ready.

**Salary**: From $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
