Environmental Labourer

**Client**

We are recruiting labourers for the Gorge project with works starting immediately This is your chance to be involved in a project setting new benchmarks for health and safety and iwi partnerships. Currently it is one of the Government’s largest current transport expenditure commitments and providing over 350 jobs.

**Overview**

You will be working within the environment department assisting with minimising the impact the construction poses in the area, including but not limited to waterways and wildlife. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Erecting Silt ponds
- Moving and sorting materials
- Spotting machines

Whereas this is a physical labour position, it would suit someone with a genuine care for the environment and the local iwi.

**Days and hours**

Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm & every 3rd Saturday finishing no later than 2pm

**Requirements**:

- Must pass a drug test.
- Must pass a criminal history check.
- Reliable transport to get to and from the Ashhurst compound.
