**21C - Leeston**:
Our client is seeking to employ an experienced and motivated 2IC to join their team. The successful applicant will work closely with the manager to oversee the operation of the dairy farm. This farm milks 1200 cows through a 60 bales rotary shed. 400 effha platform in pasture, predominantly under pivot irrigation.

The successful applicant will:

- Take pride in all that you do and help create a great team environment.
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in a NZ dairy system.
- Be honest, motivated, and reliable with a good sense of humour.
- Have strong animal husbandry skills - the ability to diagnose and treat animals accordingly.
- Strong pasture management & grazing skills & be competent with machinery, feeding out & motorbikes.
- Be able to work unsupervised & take responsibility for operating the shed & dairy unit.
- Have a current & clean NZ drivers’ licence & be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Be a NZ citizen, permanent resident or have a valid work visa and currently be in New Zealand
