**The Role**

There has never been a busier, or more exciting time to join Seequent. We are growing rapidly, and as such, are looking for a highly collaborative Director, Regional and Segment Marketing to be responsible for managing an integrated marketing team and be accountable for maintaining a single, joined up marketing plan that aims to deliver to the key commercial goals of the business across both regions and segments and tied into the overall strategic goals of the business and the wider Customer Experience Team.

As a leader and manager this role must have an enabling mindset, establishing best practices across the team and providing mentoring/coaching where necessary. This requires the needs to think strategically and lead a team to deliver functionally. It’s about joining the dots of process, technology, marketing strategy and diverse regional/segment requirements to deliver a consistent experience for the end user and achieve the business objectives.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Work closely with the EVPs and Segment Directors as well as other key stakeholders in the business to understand strategic goals at both the segment and regional level and lead the team to translate these into well-planned marketing Strategy.
- Design a long-term strategic plan and medium-term operational plan for the Marketing team which enables achievement of segment, regional and companywide goals.
- Empower and lead the team to align with other teams on programmatic industry research and intelligence for the team - research current and prospective markets, monitor market trends and identify potential future opportunities.
- Take responsibility for the creation and evolution of an account-based marketing function that delivers against key commercial goals - with particular focus on the enterprise and large accounts.
- Lead the team to deliver on all marketing initiatives and campaigns, these will vary from brand awareness initiatives in an industry to targeted lead gen campaigns in a particular region or industry vertical.

**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:

- A suitable tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or any other business-related field.
- At least 10+ years of experience leading teams and providing leadership, support, coaching and training within a brand and marketing discipline.
- An enabling mindset, with the ability to think, plan and act strategically to deliver on predictable outcomes.
- Extensive experience involving the need to understand products, markets, customers and competitors and what drives behaviours.
- Experience leading and providing negotiation and conflict management with a balanced and informed approach to problem solving.
- Proven commercial prowess and business acumen with experience in influencing and persuading in a consultative manner.
