**Checkout Supervisor, New World Whakatane**

Having worked in a busy Food Supermarket would be an obvious advantage and also some experience in guiding and managing staff would make life a little easier for you in this position. You would need to be comfortable with dealing with a range of money transactions to facilitate sales.

You'd need to be able to keep your calm when others are losing their heads, settle the odd agitated customer, locate a missing child, make sure a customer quickly gets some cold ones for the barbie, and still be in great shape to guide the good ship HMNZS Checkout New World Whakatane to a safe haven.

We like happy bubbly workers with lots of enthusiasm, and staff who have a bent for aspiring to deliver awesome customer service.

It is a 31.5 hour permanent position with 3 days off in the week. We do require applicants to have NZ residency or NZ Citizenship.
