Trainee Signals Technician

- **Training rate: $36.50 per hour + environmental allowance + paid overtime and weekend work**:

- **Rates increase to $43.38 once fully qualified**:

You will be working in the KiwiRail Infrastructure & Engineering part of the business and helping to build a rail network that meets the needs of future rail. Your career journey will start as a while you find your feet and you complete the initial training in this specialist field.

**Your Role**
- If you are hands-on person with electrical registration/qualification and have a desire to learn from some of the best, this could be the right opportunity for you
- Based at our Hamilton depot, you will be responsible for the provision of effective, reliable and efficient day-to-day operations of all Signalling assets
- This will include the maintenance, installation, restoration, and repair of Signal interlocking components, so an interest in this area would be advantageous
- This role is challenging, fast-paced, and in an environment where using initiative and problem solving is celebrated
