**Stormwater Wastewater Technician**

**About the role**

Work as part of the 4 Waters Operations section assisting where required to fulfil the projects and work functions of the Stormwater and Wastewater team. Participate in team planning and organising and in finding and promoting solutions.

Reporting to the Team Leader Stormwater and Wastewater, this role will be office based, working in a team of 4 people.

You’ll recognise the importance of the role as a Treaty partner and understand how that underpins Gisborne District Council’s work.

**Duties Include**:

- Proactively manage customer requirements and expectations to ensure full customer satisfaction
- Enter data into Council’s Asset Management System
- Assist the Team Leader Stormwater Wastewater in the preparation of results into a format for reports
- Assist with the preparation of reports, notices and correspondence

**Skills & experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years work experience
- Full NZ Drivers License
- Operational experience in stormwater / wastewater activities or related disciplines
- Demonstrated skills with work programming projects and people
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
