The contribution our Cleaners make is integral to maintaining a safe & hygienic environment for our patients, their whānau, and our staff. As a Cleaner, you will do something you can be proud of every day as you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone within our hospital.

Our dedicated team of Cleaners work around the clock in our hospitals, and we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team on a part time basis.

We are looking for someone with the below skills & attributes:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Good command of verbal and written English
- Respectful and courteous towards patients and colleagues
- Reliable and available to pick up shifts at short notice
- Motivated to engage in mandatory staff training sessions (may include operating floor care machinery)
- Ability to follow duty lists and safety protocols as well as instructions for specialised cleaning equipment
- Flexible and able to adapt to unexpected changes within the busy hospital environment

Our Cleaners are offered the opportunity to enrol in NZQA Level 3 qualifications within 12 months of employment.
