Music Technician

A permanent part time opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Music Technician to join our Hawkes Bay IDEAschool in a 0.6FTE capacity. Reporting through to our Acting Head of School, IDEAschool this position is a pivotal role within our organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide high quality technical support across the music disciplines within IDEAschool
- Manage music equipment installation, repairs, maintenance and certification requirements
- Manage staff and student access to music rooms and equipment
- Implement effective music area induction and provide a safe learning environment for staff and students
- Should ideally have an appropriate tertiary qualification but relevant experience in the music industry is essential.
- Knowledge and experience working with a range of music equipment and associated software, recording and performance situations
- Understanding and commitment to workplace health, safety and wellbeing
- Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Have a clean drivers license
