Since Riviera Hardware Holdings inception in 2009, where we started out with a small local Mitre 10 store in Warkworth, we have grown to be the largest group of stores within the Mitre 10 national network. We are proud to offer our customers a shopping experience like no other in New Zealand’s largest hardware retail store; Mitre 10 MEGA Albany as well as New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparoa and Silverdale, boast Columbus Coffee shops. We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant.

This is a Full-time opportunity based in the trade department at Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn with an initial Sunday to Thursday roster pattern.

**The duties of the role**:

- Operate all machinery including saws and forklifts/reach-trucks/scissor lifts etc.
- Ensure timber wastage is kept to a minimum and correct processes are followed
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of trade yard and drive thru where applicable
- Ensure all timber products are sold under the correct SKU's and measurements

**Skills and Experience preferred**:

- 1 - 2 years’ experience working in a trade related or similar environment
- Hold a valid, full, clean Class 1 license
- Able to drive delivery vehicles if required
- Physically fit and capable with no restrictions on lifting or handling
- F endorsement and OSH accredited forklift certificate is helpful (but not essential as we endeavor to assist you with obtaining this).
