The Sterile Services Unit is looking for a professional, enthusiastic person to be part of a
**diverse, high performing**, and
**hardworking patient focused team.**

The Sterile Science Technician role is responsible for providing optimum patient care through effective sterilisation, preparation and maintenance of instruments and equipment for Operating Theatres and Outpatient clinics.

The successful applicant would ideally hold the NZQA Certificate in Sterilising Technology Level 3 (or equivalent) or be prepared to undergo study within 12 months from commencement of employment.

- **Salary band - $52,260 to $61,823**

This is a full time position; 40 hours a week, working rostered shifts and on call (when required) that covers a 24/7 service (7 days a week).
