**Your Impact**
Reporting Group Senior Manager Lean and working closely with our Australian based state lean team, you will be responsible for delivering Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across two sites in our Papakura site in Auckland, NZ.
With a critical focus on cost savings and waste reduction, you’ll take the lead for identifying new opportunities, developing plans and implementing new processes to ensure we reach targets across our sites. Furthermore, you will also manage the, Asahi Way responsible for its implementation and imbedding into the business.

- Developing Root Cause and Problem-Solving Capability amongst the Supply Chain Teams
- Assessing, coaching and management of the Asahi Way practices
- Develop Asahi Way Maturity Improvement Plans
- Work with Regional Effective Work Pillar Champion to confirm maturity progression.
- Drive Routine effectiveness for site and ensure Routine TOR’s and MCRs exist and are adhered too.
- Observe and coach improvement of meeting effectiveness.
- Coaching and coordinate bottom up builds for KPI target setting including monitoring and maintaining KPI reporting system.
- Identifying best practices and standardising processes across the business
- Ensure Site pillar maturity plans, and actions are appropriate through Site Pillar Champions
- Govern score movement across all Pillars ensuring agreed HUB movement of maturity.
**About You**
With a strong operational background in manufacturing and passion for continuous improvement, you’ll bring with you demonstrated experience delivering CI projects using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, TOC or TQM. With that in hand, you’ll also need to a strong relationship builder, utilising your flair for people to influence key stakeholders and ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives.
Sound like you? Other success indicators we’re looking for include:
- Extensive demonstrated experience in production, logistics or management positions in an FMCG Manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated achievements in CI, using lean, Six Sigma, TOC or TQM.
- Demonstrated achievements in using Project Management tools, including Microsoft Project and sound knowledge of quality management systems.
- Impeccable time management and change management skills.
- A solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
