Do you have a NZ Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering at level 3 or higher?

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician / Fitter

This engineering role will be working in the Fellmongery & Tannery engineer team in Hastings.

Main responsibilities of the job:

- Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance.
- Focus on improving efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- A continuous consideration for H&S.

About you:

- Not necessary, but ideally some experience within Fellmongery and Tannery workplaces.
- Experience in Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Reticulated Services. Some welding skills are required.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communicative skills.
- Mechanical Engineering qualification: NZ Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering level 3 as a minimum.
