**Job Description**:
As a result of an internal promotion, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner, or FP&A Specialist as we’d like to call you internally, to be the Finance business partner to the Sales division of JDE in New Zealand. You will be based in our office in East Tamaki, Auckland.

This is a great opportunity to use your financial expertise while gaining commercial experience and be at the forefront of JDE’s sales operations. Are you up for this challenge?

In this role, you will:

- Partner with Sales to drive business performance
- Provide in-depth analysis of product, customer, and promotional profitability
- Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast process
- Continuously challenge the status quo across our Retail and Professional business units
- Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support with internal control, ad hoc analysis, and continuous improvements

For this role as a Finance Business Partner, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

- A bachelor’s degree and preferably a CA or CPA qualification (or working towards one)
- You ideally have a few years of experience in a similar role, working as a financial business partner with a commercial team within an FMCG company
- You are an expert in accounting, SAP and Excel
- You have great attention to detail and enjoy data analysis
- You like to take a leading role in the creation of business cases and have commercial acumen
- You have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy working with the Finance team and the wider business
