Are you trying to find your next move in the administrative field?
As a member of the Mental Health Services for Older Adults Team, you will be in charge of handling the Mental Health Act on a daily basis. Making sure that the Mental Health Act laws are appropriately documented and applied is your main duty. The Director of Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS), clinical teams, clients, their whanau, courts, and legal counsel will all be consulted during this process.
It will take a highly organised mind, process-oriented abilities, and problem-solving skills to succeed in this profession. Proficiency in both oral and written communication is required for this position.
You must be computer skilled and willing to pick up new techniques and methods.
